Nancy’s Story

 

I was by nature a skeptical person until receiving verification through personal experience.   

 

A trusted friend of many years, Merri Lu Park, had been healed of anaphylactic shock reactions to airborne allergens….reactions that frequently landed her in the emergency room.  This healing took place through her journeys to the Casa de dom Inacio.  Upon her recommendation I was inspired to go to the Casa for the first time in 2007.  At that time I had mixed feelings:  faith in the Casa process based upon my friend’s healing; and skepticism about this idea of miraculous healings. 

 

Being a business owner with a busy practice and a single mother of two very active teens, the peaceful energy of the Casa Current (meditation) room was pleasant to say the least.  Spiritual surgery was recommended for me.  I proceeded to the spiritual surgery room, and as I sat there with my eyes closed, on occasion unidentifiable footsteps came and went.  Suddenly I felt a powerful soothing profound “wall” of peaceful energy.  I realized that as the sound of slowly moving footsteps came nearer, the powerful, profoundly peaceful, soothing wall of energy became stronger and stronger.  I couldn’t resist…against advice I opened my eyes to sneak a quick peek…and there was John of God.  He spoke a few words in Portuguese and then exited the room.  I thought….so this is it…this is spiritual surgery….a bit disappointed but yet amazed at the powerful energy that emanated from John of God. 

 

I was then directed to exit the room.  As I stood up, I felt deeply peaceful and light-headed.  Strange…I thought….but perhaps I’m just imagining this since I want something big to happen for me.  I stepped out of the building and thankfully not too far from the door there was a bench to sit on where I sat and enjoyed the deeply peaceful feelings.  (Since that time, in hearing many people’s stories of similar feelings of being light-headed, I now understand that it is a fairly common positive response to the healing energy.)

 

 I received my directive for spiritual surgery follow-up.  Part of the directive is to rest for 24 hours, lying down as much as possible.  I am by nature an active person, accustomed to enjoying daily long walks and a bit of yoga.  I love nature and therefore spend as much time as possible outdoors.  The idea of being inside my hotel room for 24 hrs.  was definitely unappealing.  It was mid afternoon.  I got into bed and closed my eyes  My next awareness was that of a knock at my door….a delivery of my evening meal.  Meal consumed I  slipped back into slumber, sleeping peacefully for the night and throughout the better part of the next day, awakening for short periods of time with profoundly peaceful feelings and memories of an array of vivid dreams.  I journaled those vivid dreams, gaining insight and understanding, appreciating this path to resolving past inner conflict.   

 

Once the required 24 hours of rest was complete, upon exiting my room I noticed my next door “neighbor” also stepping out of her room.  The previous day I had witnessed her receiving physical surgery on stage, receiving an incision to her breast by medium John of God.  The incision was made without anesthesia, while she stood peacefully, without reaction to the scalpel.  In the process body tissue was removed. 

 

A day later, as we both stood outside our room embracing the sunlight and fresh air, I felt an unshakable desire to see her wound.  She willingly exposed her wound, and to my surprise, in just the course of a day her would had completely healed, completely free of redness or swelling, as if the surgery had taken place weeks ago.  I was speechless…but somehow managed to thank her.  I needed no further convincing that something miraculous and unexplainable was happening here at the Casa.

 

Being a curious person, I just had to know more about other people’s experiences.  During many weeks at the Casa I spoke with a number of people.  From back injuries dramatically improved, to complete healings from cancer (my friend Merri Lu being one of these), Michele having a complete healing from lifelong epilepsy after five visits, and several embracing renewed energy after years of chronic fatigue, I was continually amazed at hearing people’s healing stories.  I saw a young man multiple times shuffling along with the support of braces, appearing to have physical deformities.  Two weeks later this same young man was walking swiftly, dragging those braces along behind him…apparently not yet willing to let go of the security of the braces, but now able to walk with ease. 

 

In some cases people were at the Casa on one of many successive visits, as recommended by John of God, or simply out of desire for a return peaceful retreat to the healing community.  With each conversation and interaction within the healing community, I further deepened my belief and understanding.  Many came for spiritual growth, many spoke of personal shifts, and all that I spoke with acknowledged having a positive experience.  Many spoke of the shift to greater emotional peace, happiness and the ability to love more deeply, more profoundly.  Many spoke of profound forgiveness spontaneously happening as they sat in the Casa current.

 

My successive times at the Casa deepened the profoundly peaceful, profoundly blissful feelings that I experienced in the meditation room called "current".  Many times three to four hours in meditation seemed like minutes.  The crystal clear clarity, understanding, forgiveness and insight that happened for me, especially in the current room, and during crystal baths, waterfall visits and in profound dreams, have been of immense value to me in my continued personal evolution.  Words cannot define most of these experiences.

 

As a result of being in the Casa healing community, combined with other healing modalities and experiences through this same time period, I am enjoying greater feelings of fulfillment and happiness, greater feelings of inner peace, greater compassion, greater confidence, heightened intuition, greater awareness of and connection to Spirit, and a greater ability to channel healing energy. 

 

Many years ago I would have considered much of this to be “woo-woo”.  Now I know that miracles do happen, and I know that the Spirit world exists and lends us guidance and support.  From my observation and personal experience, I know that physical healing doesn’t necessarily require time….it can be instant. 

 

 

More about my Career Background

 

Prior to being a natural healing professional, I was the assistant to the CEO and events coordinator at a wholesale electric power supply company.  Since 1990, in my business of Living Well, I have enjoyed helping numerous people make positive changes in their lives.  Initially helping others as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Neuromuscular Therapist, and then evolving to helping others through Coaching, Hypnosis, Reiki, Reconnective (Energy) Healing and EFT.

 

Using a combination of tools and techniques, I have enjoyed inspiring many to take charge of their lives, cultivating self-awareness, self-motivation, focus and concentration, positive thinking and relaxation skills, and tuning in and surrendering to inspiration.  In both private sessions and within wellness programs, I have helped numerous people learn to manage stress more effectively, release fears and addictive habits, and attain greater self-confidence.
